Our Heritage
A family, a farm, and the land that holds them.

The Nyangiwe Family
Rooted in the Eastern Cape
Nyangiwe Family Farming is a privately owned close corporation of eight family members, established in 2003 — three of us subsistence farmers with the potential and determination to succeed. Our family farm of 348.6 hectares sits just 20 kilometres from the East London Airport, easily accessible to customers, regulators and stakeholders.
East London's summer-rainfall climate makes the region ideal for raising livestock, and the farm is well resourced with natural and artificial water in all four of its corners. We produce and sell livestock to abattoirs, butchers and the public, supported by a supplier base of commercial farmers, animal health and feed companies, the municipality and the transport industry.
Situated in the countryside, far from polluting industry, we pledge our customers a quality product raised in clean air. Customer satisfaction is instrumental to us — loyal customers are afforded consultation by one of our experienced members, and the owners' deep knowledge of this region, where we were born and raised, guides every decision.
What We Stand On
Our Values
Land Stewardship
Rotational grazing, rested camps and indigenous grasses. The veld feeds us only if we let it recover.
Animal Welfare
Space, shade, clean water and gentle handling. Healthy animals are not a policy here — they are the practice.
Multi-Generational Farming
Knowledge passed from grandfather to father to child, kept alive alongside modern record-keeping.
